The Paddock Arcade

Built in 1850, the Paddock Arcade is the nation’s oldest continuously operated indoor pedestrian mall. It still functions as a shopping and business center in downtown Watertown and has undergone structural and aesthetic improvements in recent years. The mall offers a wide variety of shops from a video recoding studio, a café, an antiques and variety store, a beauty shop, and a tavern. It also features murals on the walls depicting historic events, locations, and people who have impacted the city of Watertown.
